Sri M.E.Haque (WP&P),CWC ,New Delhi, India

Shri M. E. Haque joined Central Water Engineering Services in October 1975. Before joining as Member (Water Planning and Projects), Central Water Commission on 1^st February 2011, Shri Haque has worked in different capacities with Central Water Commission, Ganga Flood Control Commission, Sone River Commission and Ministry of Water Resources. He also taught at post graduate level at Department of Hydrology, University of Roorkee (now Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee) as Reader and served National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee as Scientist on deputation.  

Shri Haque has wide professional experience in the areas of (a) Policy and Planning for Water Resources Development, (b) Preparation of Comprehensive Plan for Water Resources Development Projects, (c) Preparation of Master Plan for Flood Management, (d) Hydrological Observation and Hydrological Analysis (e) Flood Forecasting, (f) Design of Hydraulic Structures, (g) Teaching and Research, and (h) Administration and Co-ordination.
